Hi all,

I have started to get a crush on a work colleague but he doesn't know it. I'm not sure how he feels either.

He's gone on a trip with friends and sent me a random message out the blue yesterday saying that he keeps seeing my favorite animal and they make him think of me.

What could this mean? Could he have a crush on me too? The guy tends to be a bit of a flirt with everyone, but would you say that to a girl you just saw as a friend?

Yes. I've said it to my dad before.

If you want to know more, ask him.

Relatives and friends tell me they see things that remind them of me all the time. Doesn't mean anything really. IMO.

Ask him to dinner after work and find out. Maybe he is afraid to start a at work relationship, that can sometimes go sideways. If a relationship starts be aware that if it goes sideways one of you may have to find a different job. But then again a lot of people meet their s/o at work, I did. But it wasn't a important job and could have easily gotten a different one.

You have already answered the question, he likes to flirt, he is not interested in you.

"I've been thinking about you" can be translated to mean, "I want to perform the humpalumpadingdong with you." Hope that helps.

Of course it could mean he has a crush on you.

Play along. Send him a funny cartoon pic of that animal and a funny emoji. See where this goes.
