Which is what my post indicated. It is still a believable scenario with a discussion worth discussing.
As I said my stepbrother's girlfriend, then fiance, then wife did it to her parents/my family repeatedly. A thread doesn't grow to over 500 posts unless it resonates.

Or unless it is incredibly triggery albeit crazily inaccurate.
You can find any number of examples of prejudices, for example, which will trigger at least equally to this one.
Try "bald men aren't as good in bed" as a little experiment. Back it up with some skewed science about testosterone plus an anecdote about poor sexual performance from an apparently dissatisfied woman who knows "other women" who have had a similar experience. Then sit back and watch that mama blow up. You could sub "short men have a chip on their shoulder" or "women who claim harassment are liars." There are so many and they are baloney but heck yeah they bring people to verbal blows.
There does NOT have to be truth to a triggery subject in order for it to blow up the internet, and the gold digger woman is in the Top Ten for this no matter how dumb the assertions and exaggerated stories.
This one has a tiny degree of sophistication in making it not say all or most women, because people who post stuff like this want it to last, not get shut down. It is obvious right out of the gate that it will grow from just that one woman in no time. We all know it. And it has.

I just told my wife this thread has hit 54 pages (and the subject).
She said, "Don't go to restaurants you can't afford. The menu is fair game. This is stupid. He is stupid. I hope she dumped him. He wouldn't have complained if he'd gotten laid."
Then she looked disgusted (like many CDF conversations of ours lead to), and went about her business.
She's right, it would have been "our amazing first date" if he had gotten laid.
Would it be amazing if he had gotten laid after she had a guinnea hen, though? Does the lobster and sex make it a conquest?
Is this ghetto at all?

Pretty much.
