If it doesn't come naturally for you - don't do it - it most likely will be perceived as forced, fake, or awkward - neither of which I can imagine would be a good thing. As others have already said - just be light-hearted and learn how to have a normal conversation.

I never said that it doesn't come naturally to me. I just said that I sometimes give the impression of being too serious. But I do have it in me. Got any good suggestions?

Smile often, maintain eye contact, not staring, follow her lead. Just be yourself.

Jokingly say you won't be paying for dinner (or wherever you take her out).

Some would say that's manipulative and nasty and sexist or something. I don't know.

If it did come naturally to you then you wouldn't be here asking how to do it or what to say.

Well why don't you give me a couple of suggestions on how to tease in a playful, friendly, fun way and I'll try them out and see if they come naturally to me. You never know, it might work.

Do you think it's manipulative to tease in such a way?

So how do you think I should tease women when on a date, or talking to them in general?
Don't tease them.

You mean in a friendly, playful way? Why not?
