Do a lot of women actually find guys with glasses more attractive? (boyfriend, love)

I often hear people saying that glasses make a man look sexy, but I am a guy and to me most guys look much better without glasses, myself included. I thought about getting contacts a while back, but I just continued wearing glasses, partly because lots of people say glasses do make you look more attractive. But if I were to go based on what looks better to me personally, I would definitely get contacts. So I am wondering if my aesthetic sense is off or if there is some truth to it a lots of girls do find glasses ugly on men?
Oh and on girls I actually tend to find glasses attractive.

I don’t think glasses make people look more or less attractive. They’re just glasses. I usually wear glasses, but not on dates. I don’t care either way whether a guy wears them.
I heard somewhere that 87% of guys who read Yahoo Finance wear glasses.
I think it all depends on what glasses represent to each person. If I'm really attracted to a guy who is thoughtful or introverted or intelligent and that's what glasses signify to me, then I would find men with glasses more attractive.

I've been wearing glasses since I was 9 years old. Mostly for driving and watching TV. I don't wear to read, though. I don't really give a hang of someone finds me unattractive with glasses! I have contact lenses but hardly put them in; I'm too used to glasses.
