I think you are looking for trouble, but I don't see anything he's doing to encourage this woman. She does seem to be seeking him out, but he's not replying in a way that seems suspicious to me, based on what you wrote.

You need to figure out if you can handle being in a relationship with a nice guy who is friendly to everyone. If you can't trust him, which it seems like you can't, then you need to let him go to someone who will respect his privacy.
