Sometimes it works if there is mutual passion about the subject. A professor (he was at least 65) at my university dated and married one of his 20 -something grad students. He had a lady's man reputation (didn't see it myself), but this one lasted. Happened to meet up with them years later at a professional conference. Still married, still doing the same research together. My sister dated and eventually married one of her professors who was at least 25 years her senior. They now have 2 great sons in college. If they're happy so what?

I may just be cynical or jaded from seeing so many relationships in general go wrong and social media attention seekers.....

But I just don't get why some people feel the need to announce this type of stuff.

I'm 49, i was at the store earlier and saw this hot old girl, probably 60 or so, had a tight little sundress on. She had a great big rack on her on ,hot Latina momma.

When I was 25 I probably wouldn't have even seen this woman.

25 and 71 is kinda gross but whatever works I guess.

I think she meant pension instead of passion.
LOL. But seriously I hope he doesn't have any kids from previous relationships. She's getting everything after a few years work. That's my only pet peeve is when huge age gaps happen the kids get left out by someone old enough to be the grandchild.

Half the marriages in America end in divorce.......

How much worse can these two do?

God bless and good luck to them.
