Is your girlfriend your crush you've mentioned in other threads? Or someone else?

OP's age and the "girlfriend" age?
Without offending, I suspect both are teenagers.

OP has two active usernames and one problem. It's hard to give advice when he is pretending to be two different people.

I think your gf wasn’t into camping. Your mom sounds cool, but maybe she needed a date, too.

What everyone else said. Her first experience of camping and she may not have liked it, but couldn't say so lest she appear rude. This in front of her significant other's parent. I can imagine the whole situation felt very awkward to her. And as others have said, I'd be weirded out by PDA in front of an SO's parent(s), especially early in a relationship and if I was young.

OP? Can you see why people on here are visualizing you in a onesie and a teddy bear by the campfire?

It’s time to be a man and plan a nice dinner date one on one. Leave Mom at home.

Show the tiger video? Get the right candy this time? Push her face in the snow? I can't narrow it down. I'm thinking 23 y.o. with mother chaperoning may be on the spectrum, if that's the case...I guess it's kind of nice?

OK, calm down. We've been on a few dates, just the two of us. My mom hasn't been with us all the time.

Do you acknowledge that you may have misread her reaction to the camping date?
