My girlfriend just went through a procedure called a colposcopy, it basically takes tissue samples of your cervix if your pap teast comes back abnormal. So the doctor's orders are: No intercourse for 48 hrs prior to the test, and no intercourse for 14 days after, in order to prevent infection...
