I was just informed that the neighbor who had been hitting on me for the past year or so just passed away, apparently from drugs and drinking. He was only in his late 50s.

I could tell he was living a shady lifestyle (without wanting to make assumptions) but it was just a spidy sense I guess. This is just confirmation I was correct, and, I made the right decision to not get involved.

But it is sad he died. RIP. I wish he had gotten help instead.

Trust your instincts about people.

That's sad; all aspects of the story. Yes, it's too bad he couldn't have gotten help, and lived longer to enjoy a pleasant life.

RIP. Thanks for the follow-up.

Old George Jones song:

He stopped loving you today,
They placed a wreath upon his door.
And tonight they'll carry him away,
He stopped loving you today.

Sorry. Just couldn't help it.

It's creepy, but see if you can "casually" get inside his house. Might confirm you REALLY made the right move.

Thanks. Never made a thread on it, just posts here and there about this neighbor always walking by and hitting on me.

@Ted Bear..yeah, I can only imagine the state of that house's interior.

Sad to hear. 50's ain't that old these days, people are generally living a little longer and better, of course he sounds like he had some issues, apparently.

50s doesnt seem that old at all. Yep, it was definitely hard drugs that did it.
