So, I have been dating this girl for two months now. Things are going really well and I enjoy being with her and doing things with her more than I ever have before.

And here is the issue. I travel for work. I am on the road 18 days a month and about to switch to 15 days a month. Basically, seven days on seven days off. Anyways, she is not digging the time away thing.

This month I was supposed to go home and we were going to spend the weekend together. We were heading out of town. Then she cancelled so she could spend time with a friend who is moving out of town. I understand that. So, I am taking the weekend to see my parents out of town because I need to go home. She said she understands but has a hard time dealing with it.

She always asks me how much "wankel7 time do you need?".Something I really can't determine. I mean she gets to lead her life 30 days a month. I get to lead my 15 days a month. So, I have to balance my life and time spent with her in that time period.

So, what to do? She has never had a boyfriend that travels like I do. Should I give it a few more months to see if she can adjust to it? I would like to because I do see a future with her.

She's spending time with a friend and she's getting upset because she can't handle you spending it with your parents???
It's not going to change.

Wow! Only two months into the relationship, and she`s already starting to gripe about where you spend your time...but yet, its ok for her to cancel the plans because of a friend? I would remind her that your job requires you to be gone half of the month, and if she don`t think she can handle that, then she needs to let you know now, before you waste anymore of your time with her.
It doesn`t sound like she`s a very...give and take type of person.
If you see her in your future, then you need to let her know how you feel, and hopefully, she will understand, and be more patient...if not?

Sounds like she is a bit insecure. Talk to her about her feelings, don't get angry, tell her you love her and you understand; but this is who you are. If she can't deal with it, the relationship will get very rocky.
