I know for some, age difference is not a problem, and for me, age difference is not a big problem either, as long as it's not a big age difference, like what I experienced with an ex-girlfriend about 15 years ago. I know others might feel differently about the age difference, and that's okay, as long as you're happy, to me 4 years, maybe 5 years maximum is okay. However, when somebody makes you believe he or she is much younger than they actually are, then that might cause some issues.
As I was saying in a previous post, she originally told me she was only 4 years older than I was at the time I met her, and 5 years later I found out she was actually 15 years older than me, so that was a little tough to take.

You were with her for 5 years and never saw some sort of a document of hers...? And since you've been saying you wanted to have a family, didn't this subject ever come up?
I am a elder statesman of Generation X while my lady is in the middle of the Baby Boomer pack. Although there is a 16-year age difference, I like to tell people that we are a fortysomething couple with thirtysomething tastes.
