My therapist is a married man but calls me sweetheart and honey whenever I’m feeling down. He has said that if he didn’t go into the other career that he had planned on going into, he wouldn’t be sitting there talking to me. He has also compared me to his wife saying that I’m just like her. Should I be concerned about this therapist?

He doesn't sound very professional.

I suggest that you find another therapist and switch. It might just be the way he talks to everyone, but he is making you uncomfortable and the world is full of assorted therapists. Get a different one.

That's very inappropriate. Find a new therapist.

That seems very slimy. I’m sure he does it with many patients not just you. Probably checking to see who he can cheat on his wife with.

Depends on age. How old is your therapist?

No concerns unless he actually makes a move or hints at such.

Not everything in life has bad intentions.
