I agree with the other people on here who responded that he may not be interested in pursuing you; however, I did want to point out that he's got some other stuff going on.. which could be affecting his attitude overall. You said he got suspended from work, and then he came back, and then he quit? What was that about? Could it be that he is upset from all that regarding his job? Maybe he's not thinking about you .. because of the other stuff going on. Some men get really down on their luck.. they can have a persona of 'everything is fun and happy', but underneath it they might be stressed and kind of depressed. I'm not saying that's him, but it might help you to not feel so hard on yourself about why someone might reject you. Sometimes there are other things going on. At the same time though, again, I agree with the other comments on here that if a guy is truly interested, he will usually make it happen and ask you out or show more interest. That's not always the case, depending on if the guy has low self-esteem or is depressed about something. But if you have his number, maybe text him and reach out and see what he says. But if he doesn't respond or he is short with you, drop it.
