Yup. I'd land on my brother's couch for a while. Whenever I hear the song "Find out who your friends are", I think of my brother. He's the person in our family who will drop what he's doing in a second and drive a hundred miles to give you lift home if you needed one.
I own my home outright, no mortgage. Should I become involved and things don't work out, he will be the one leaving, not me.
