Would you have a place to go? A back up plan?
Or would you be forced to run home to mother?

Yup. I'd land on my brother's couch for a while. Whenever I hear the song "Find out who your friends are", I think of my brother. He's the person in our family who will drop what he's doing in a second and drive a hundred miles to give you lift home if you needed one.

People like him in your life are priceless.

Thrown out of your own home? I don't think so. If someone isn't happy then THEY should leave. I would probably dial 911 if that happened to me.

I've wanted to do both of these since I was a boy. When opportunity knocks...

I own my home outright, no mortgage. Should I become involved and things don't work out, he will be the one leaving, not me.
