How do you bring romance back into a marriage or relationship?
My husband and I have been married for 5 years now... We have a pretty good sex life, but once in awhile it would be nice to feel like were making love. I dont know where to start, or how to even approach the subjust with my husband without making him fell like I'm not satisified in bed.
Sorry, I believe that the concept of romance was something manufactured by novelists to sell books. In reality, men and women have entirely different ideas of what "romance" is (as the responses to the OP will bear out). Women in general, have been dealt a very unfair hand. They have been led to believe since they were little girls that Prince Charming will come galloping in on his white horse and sweep her off her feet to live "happily ever after". No chance. Any relationship is a team effort and filled with ups and downs. Anyone who thinks otherwise is going to be in for a big disappointment.

I agree that novelists create a false sence of romance to some degree.
I live in the real world not something that I have made up in "never never land" or happily ever after
However, before I was married I dated men who were genuinely romantic. ( and it was more than just wanting to get my pants off at the time)
When a man puts forth the effort to set the mood, or does something little it makes a huge impact.
He sounds like a science experiment gone terribly wrong just kidding
