Do you guys think that morals and values are separate from religion. It seems like morality came from religion.
"Do onto others as you would have to you" That type of thing. I don't have a specific religion that I adhere to, but I consider myself moral and have values.

I think they are absolutely separate.

You know, Chow, to some extend this statement is true, but not entirely. It can become a problem in relationships when one person gives what he/she would like to receive and the other one doesn't care for it whatsoever. That's the basic idea in that book about the love languages. For instance, the guys were just talking about wanting more sex (what else is new). Some woman may cook up a storm, keep a clean house, take care of the kids, and think she'd please him, but he doesn't care for any of this at all, particularly if he's deprived of intimacy. Another guy may want everything this woman provides and be unlucky enough to end up with a lazy nympho and come here complaining of her attacks...
Or you can cast pearls before a swine... It's not gonna do you any good and most likely it will annoy the swine! It's all about being with people on your wavelength, however screwed up that wavelength may be.
Great, yapping away again... Couldn't finish all the cleaning I was planning to do and will have to continue tomorrow!
You might be right. Being around Prozac-induced fake grins is my only experience with drugs.
Some of the legal drugs scare me.
No offense to any Pharmacists out there.
Did you guys ever see the movie Jacobs Ladder.
Scary stuff with the government sponsored "experimental" drugs.
