How do you feel about men who have or have not been circumcised? There is quite a debate on the parenting forum right now about this subject. I have 4 boys and all have been circumcised I really did not want to have it done but my husband said other boys would tease them. I have only seen one uncircumcised person and he was an elderly man I was taking care of in a nursing home. What a shock I kind of stared for a few seconds. I did not think it looked appealing.
My question is would ladies date a uncircumcised man? Men do you have life long pain or traumtic feelings since having this procedure. Also men do you think boys should have this done for social or relationship reasons.

So why are you against it if the naked old man didn't look so hot?

I'm bewildered as to why you are asking this question?

I am not against it, it looks better. I am against the pain for the babies. I was wondering because on the other forum people are saying it causes life long trauma and pain. Just wondering?

Penises function the same whether they are circumcised or not. There are only three reasons to do it: 1) Religious; 2) Social Convention and 3) Hygiene concerns. I seriously doubt I would do it. That flap of skin is there for a reason. It isn't worth it to me to cause a one day old the pain of the removal of a piece of skin so it looks like everyone else's. Besides, how would I feel if something went wrong and my child ended up deformed? It has happened.
