Not talking sexual but how many women work all day to come home take care of our hubby and kids and then kill ourselves off by having to vlean up the fishes, the house, the laundry etc. That is unless you are one of the lucky few who's husband does more after work than sit and watch tv.

I am now a stay at home wife, have worked all my life until '01 went illness took over. I do all my wife chores with love becasue my husband is now taking care of me. It was never that way for marriage number 1 and not that way for the first 10 years of marriage number 2 I had a son with #1 til he was 10 then the divorce so I did 2 jobs and everything else with #2 until '01. I have always been a caregiver and do my best the way i can now which is pretty normal. I have a stepson who 16 20 but looks and act 16. He is a good boy but extra work.

So would you want a wife?

I have been a stay at home mom, a working, single mom, a working, married mom, and now a part time working, part time stay at home mom. I don't need a wife, I need two husbands. One that goes to work and pays the bills. (mine does that) and one who is around to take me to lunch, fix things around the house, build things, coach the kids, walk the dog, etc. My husband is great, I just wish there were two of him. Kind of like the movie Multiplicity!

How many husbands do you think could put up with another one at home is the real question.

I have told my husband that if we had another "wife" I'd gladly return to the ranks of the gainfully employed.

As it is, I do everything around here and he makes the money. Rarely he complains about this arrangement (usually when the subject fop money comes up) but I reminded him of the cushy little life we both enjoy because I am home to do all the menial labor while he is at work getting the "glory". He immediately snaps back to reality.

If I could work and make a $hitload of money like he does, I would HIRE a wife for us......but unfortunately my potential salary is not enough to justify the cost of daycare, gas, affect that it would have on our children's extracurricular activities and general comfort....Therefore I stay home, and dream of having a WIFE of my own.

The bf and I always joke about getting a asian girl to live with us to take care of the house in exchange for food/living quarters. However, the bf has a thing for asians so thats a no no

When I was married, I was a housewife and I miss it. I hate going to work everday. I'd much rather stay at home, cook and clean. I also took care of the household bills.

I have a cleaning lady who comes in every Tuesday. I'll go without the Starbucks so I can keep her - she's a godsend.
