DALLAS, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- A direct test indicated a partner's physical attractiveness played a larger role in predicting husbands' satisfaction than wives', U.S. researchers say.
Andrea L. Meltzer of Southern Methodist University in Dallas and colleagues analyzed the data of four independent, longitudinal studies to examine sex differences in the implications of partner physical attractiveness and marital satisfaction.
The prior article posted on this really stated that the study concluded that husbands who "felt they had a more attractive wife" were more satisfied.
Boiled down, that just tells me that husbands who, in their own minds, felt their wives were very attractive were happier.
Since everyone's general perception of what is more or less attractive is subjective and varies, I am not sure this news is either earth shattering, or that many conclusions can be drawn.
I think my wife is absolutely beautiful and amazingly attractive. I am also certain there are those here who would not give her a second look.
