You go to one and it seems like (particularly in the South) that every one comes in with their own dates. WTH? To a singles' dance?
I think singles' dances are just one step up from the bar and club scene. Too much of a big meat market. I've never met anybody the least bit nice at one. Do events like this just attract too many players? The guys in attendance all rotate from girl to girl or they go in their with their own dates. Sheesh....
I don't go to them anymore, but a friend wanted to go to a local club hangout, to see if she couldn't get picked up, and I ended up hanging around the whole evening just disgusted, talking to the manager in the front office. To me anything like this just brings back bad memories of everything distasteful I find about dance clubs.
The problem with singles dances is the same thing that's the problem with anything singles: women go looking for a relationship, guys go looking for easy sex from desparate women. And no one is honest about what they want or why they are there.

Layin it down!!! The truth deserves rep points, cuz there aint nearly enough people telling it like it is.
A singles dance?? This sounds like it is church sponsored or something...
