this is one of those posts when i am in a pretty good mood and try to to show empathy. instead i will probably offend the OP, oh well here we go
re i hate singles dances - me too. but that did not stop me from doing it for 14 years. bad news i never hooked up ever.
the good news i became a very good ballroom dancer (like for example 1 hour ago only non alcoholic dances thank you). at non bar dances, people go there to dance not hookup.
americans have hookup fever. that dont hook up bek, well not to offend but---- you talk just like i feel and think.
probably one too many terrible misunderstandings. its never about whats in front its about whats behind.
still despite our trials we make progress no?
if you knew how far i have come you would not laugh at how far behind i am.

I'm with Artsy and Stewart on this one. I did not even know that singles dances existed. This is crazy. I would love for one of my single buddies to take me! I love to dance! I'm sure they are a blast! LOL!!!
The problem with singles dances is the same thing that's the problem with anything singles: women go looking for a relationship, guys go looking for easy sex from desparate women. And no one is honest about what they want or why they are there.
Gawd! This is my kind of scene!!! Except I just pretend I'm looking for love when all I really want is the sex!
