There is no universal answer for the question posed by this thread. A marriage is a voluntary agreement between two (or more) people - no two marriages are exactly the same. Some will choose to allow outside intimacy, and for some it's a no-no with very serious consequences.
It's only okay when you sit down and express your desires with your mate. No point in running around and trying to hide things, because eventually, the truth will come out and haunt you. I know of married people who've cheated and while they got away with it numerous times, the past eventually caught up to them and set 'em straight.
So, for any married person who's interested in some 'side action', just talk about it. Just be prepared for divorce, an argument, a desire to see others as well or the go ahead to engage in seeing others.
