Fellas,

Does the woman in your life (girl/fiance/wife) tend to make requests without actually asking for it? Like if she wants you to do something, she'll make a statement about it (Like "The trashcan looks full" or "We haven't been to the movies in a while").

Statements like that. Does that drive you crazy? I mean I'm not a dumb dude by ANY means, and in most instances I can discern that she wants something, but then again she may not. It drives me CRAZY. I'd rather she ask than make some comment and have me try to figure out if there's some action needed on my part.

Do you feel me? What do you do about it?

Nope. The wife just lets me have it straight out like: "Go to the store and get me this and that and on your way out take the trash out because it's been sitting there for hours and you keep ignoring it".

I like your wife.

I have this issue with my husband. He'll comment that the diswasher hasn't been emptied or he doesn't have clean socks. I feel like saying, you noticed it, you take care of it but he usually cooks and does the shopping so I'll concede to emptying the dishwasher and washing his socks.

Smart woman! "They" say that's how it should be done. Subtleness falls on deaf ears when it comes to men.

The word "please" does not exist in her vocabulary.

"They" also say the request should be phrased "will/would you...., please?" instead of "can you?" 'cause sure he can (is capable of doing it), but the lazy bum just won't do it!
