Are "Emotional Affairs" wrong? (married, sex, call, advice)

Do you feel emotional affairs are wrong?
Excuse me for the "touchy feely" term im not sure how else to phrase it.

You mean when a spouse has another person they confide to? A person who they call when having a difficulty or just in need of advice? If so, then YES I think its wrong.

Yes, I do because 1) they can lead to the next level
2) it's disloyal - giving something to another that should be given to your spouse.

If that "friend" is of the same sex then I think its okay, but not if its a different sex.
