I don't think it's cheating at all and a matter of fact i think it's very natural and even downright sexy to see a guy do this. As for women if it were cheating then I have cheated my whole life. Id rather see a guy go masturbate if the urge hit him then to see him go cheat.

Tell her if she feels you shouldn't go solo, she needs to be 'more available'.

I don't know what context this question is derived from? You prefer this to your SO? Maybe?

I would go away on tours and not cheat on my wife . I would travel the florida circuit and not cheat on my wife.

BTW any SO that would accuse such a chaste person as this? IS THEMSELVES TRYING TO COVER UP SOMETHING BY THE ACCUSATION!

Men usually need some sort of "motivation," whether it's a picture, or video, etc. It still isn't cheating.

If you're having sex w/your SO/spouse/whatever, and some gorgeous celeb comes to mind while you're in the midst, are you cheating? No! Fantasy is fantasy.

Oh man, that is wrong. It's even more weird is that your sister had NUDE PICTURES of herself just... lying around for people to see. I didn't realize people actually took nude pictures of themselves unless it's been taken professionally in which case it's considered art. Was it taken professionally?

That's what many women and men do in long term relationships. They don't want to cheat so they just envision themselves getting it on with a crush they met somewhere, at work or school or something.

Of course its not cheating. But if your sex life is good, there really isnt any need to ever "take care of yourself".

if they're looking at porn or thinking of someone other than you while they're doing it, then yes i think it's emotionally cheating.

Women usually don't need "visual" stimulation to masturbate, but men do. That's a double standard to say that it's okay for women, but not men. I'm not saying that is what you're saying, but most men need the visual, so to say that if they are looking at porn or thinking of someone other than you is cheating, then that's where there's a double standard.

Again, I maintain that cheating is when a third (or fourth, or fifth) person is involved. Certainly not when you're alone.

Another dimension of the initial question is, if you and your partner agree to a threesome, is that cheating? I've known a few swingers in my day and they would tell you they were faithful to their spouses.

They can call it whatever they want, but I call it cheating, for both of them.
