I'd venture that we all have at least one person like this in our lives. Their goal is to make us into their version of a better person. Nevermind the fact that we are happy with ourselves.

Who is your self-appointed life coach and how are they trying to change or improve you?

I have one who has been pounding me over the head with their suggestions for self -improvement for the last 15 years but have failed to notice that I am not receptive to their particular ideas. Sheesh!!!

Isn't this such a thorn in the side? If people aren't happy with who we are, get lost and find someone else. Been there, done that. You are who you are, if you change you are no longer who you are.

Doesn't it make you wonder where they got the idea that they were such shining examples of humanity that they should guide the rest of us to that state of perfection?

I know how you feel.

There will always be someone like that somewhere. Seeing as this topic is in the relationship thread, i will say that if it were a S/O trying to do that, i don't play that I am me, if you don't like ME, then go away

I once went out with a guy who tried to get me interested in religion. I immediately lost interest in him.
