I imagine that domestic violence works both ways. I would also have to say, however, that men probably do not report it because it may make them feel less of a man, or their pride may get in the way.
A woman might not report it because of fear, or because it is the only life she has had, and it is her normalcy.
Sometimes, stepping out and seeing other peoples lives is the only way people can understand that abuse is wrong. Sometimes, it is how they realize it is actually happening, in the matter of emotional abuse.
I agree, run. If self-defense is applied, she better have left bloody fingerprints on the knife (your blood, not hers). In defense of women, men are clearly the abusers most often, which is why they're the usual suspects in any case of violence.
Didn't you make a thread in Great Debates about women who falsely accuse men of rape? What is it with all threads about situations that belong on Maury or Jerry Springer? I think that you need to hang out with a better class of people.
In answer to your question, if a woman tries to attack you, get away from her and don't let her back in your life. You don't need that sort of drama and turmoil in your life. No woman is worth that sort of craziness, no matter how hot looking she is.
Okay, if a woman is genuinely trying to hurt/injure me -
First I would try to run away, but if there was no where to go I would punch her in the jaw. I'm not going to carry bite marks or scratches with me for the rest of my life or risk getting a blood infection cuz some chick can't keep her cool.
If I was with this woman in a relationship, I would leave immediately then come back to get my things when I knew she was gone, and would never speak to her again.
