Not knowing what happened to the original poster, don't listen to those who say it's no big deal. It's a big deal. It is society's definition of manhood. And there is no support for those who struggle. I have co-workers who brag about pissing razor blades, like it's a badge of honor. Admission of involuntary celibacy is suicidal.

Being unlucky myself, in my mid-30s, having heard a lot of damning insults about my physical appearance (I'm the skinny, shy type), I wish I could offer some advice. But it gets harder every day.

Sex isn't really a huge deal. I think the fact that you're a virgin bothers you way more than anyone else. No one really cares, man...and no one is keeping track.

If you really want to have sex badly, just go out and do it. Stop being shy.

I'm sorry, but that's not reality. That's how people naively expect it to be, but it's not. How many years have you attempted to date men or women as one?

Well, I know that I, personally, don't care if a friend or a coworker is a virgin. If that's what they want, then that's want they want.

It would raise a red flag if a girl that I was dating was a virgin at my age.

Exactly. It's okay for men and 'nobody cares' but a woman in the same situation gets sh*t all over or it's 'red flags' . This is basically what I have said time and again that men IRL do too. If you think that way just know majority of the rest of your lot think the same thing. But you're all different....

I don't date guys. I only date girls.

I'm sure if I was a girl dating a virgin guy, then that would raise red flags too.

If it's such an issue for you and Radioguy, why don't you just lose it? You never know. You might actually like it.
