Hi,
I have friends online said that online divorce is cheap and is also legal? Is that true? Because I really don't have that much money to hire a lawyer so i really need a cheap divorce. That's the link my friends gave me. My husband and I can't get along anymore. I don't know, he said he has fallen out. Please help.
Here's what they gave me: http://www.divorceguide.com/free-divorce-advice/cheap-divorce/

Like anything else, you get what you pay for.

If you want a settlement where you keep the house, have guilt edged alimony, child support that will support most people for life and cause you ex husband's "knackers" to shrivel up to the size of peas, why begrudge the divorce lawyers their share. Live and let live, I say.

If you both agree to the divorce, have no assets to split or have an agreed upon arrangement regarding that and the kids, pro-se is the way to go. I'm sure you can get it online, but you can also go to your local courthouse and ask for info on getting a pro-se divorce. There's usually a packet with all the paperwork and info you need and it is much less costly than going through an attorney.

heck no don't go that route...
I don't know what state you live in, but go to your nearest local courthouse & ask if filing on your own is legal where you live
