there is conclusive evidence that O's are good for prostrate health (one a day will keep the dr. away) So couples can have, love making sex, the Quickie, and now to prevent Blue Balls and Promote Prostate health, Preventitive health sex, I found out about O's for prostate health in the eighties, most college women hadn't heard that line yet.

Perhaps you mean "prostate" (which is a gland associated with the male sex organs).
I don't think it has anything to do with how long you've gone without. The only times I've ever experienced blue balls is when I've been aroused while kissing and touching for awhile without relief. Staying aroused for an extended time without release will cause some discomfort afterwards. May not be true for everyone, but that's how it was for me.
I'm not sure how to ask this without being explicit, but I'll try. Does it hurt when you don't have sex, but you really should have... if you know what I mean??
So what do you all think??
I'm sure there are men who are sex addicts, just like there are porn addicts and women who have a shopping addiction or Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). It must hurt them all to not have their addiction satisfied, but this is a psychological problem, not a physiological problem. The body reabsorbs excess sperm and sex does nothing to keep the hormones in balance. If sex were necessary for this, most of us would be in trouble. I'm sure some priests would like to use this as a defense.
Why the concern? Are you planning to run an outreach program for men with their needs being unmet? Be aware that the vice squad has heard almost every excuse, but this one is likely to get in the papers and give you national exposure. If I were you, I'd avoid Jerry Springer.

That's kinda the point, usually the longer you go without the more easily excited you become and it lasting longer. Your body trying to force you to do something about it. Or frustrate you enough that you do/say whatever you have to to get someone to do something about it by proxy.
You are referring to so-called blue balls. Yes, the condition exists. But yes, men also likely make it up some times. Bottom line though, if you get, err, raring to go, and then don't do anything, yes, it can be quite painful in an achy sort of way. Its not at all pleasant, from personal experience.
Course a guy can always help himself, so why this is used as a way to try to "talk" women into sex I'm not sure of .

Ya, but in an adult relationship? Not talkin' some 13yr old kid trying to get his gf's panties down here.
If I have to "help myself", then why the hell do I tag the word "friend" behind the relationship with her?
I hear some of this consistently from the boards and other married guys. Doesn't want to ever see porn around, obviously doesn't want him to fool around on her, but is about as interested in sex with the guy as fat Albert would be in a salad bar.
Out the door, down the road, and gone..
