their eyebrows arched.....Women how do you feel about me who get those things done? Does it make them less "manly"? Men do you get any of these things done?

I treat myself to a nice manicure and pedicure once every two months because I work using my hands and feet a lot. Also I think most women really take notice to guy who not keep their appearance up, but go the extra mile by keeping their hands and feet in decent shape. I have thick eyebrows, and they can get a little wild at times, but I doubt I'll get them plucked or arched anytime soon.

I don't mind any of those things in a man if done in moderation. My husband is the spitting image of his grandfather at a young age, and Pop-pop ended up with with some nutso eyebrows. Eyebrows like that one guy from Dune. My husband's brows are already heavy, and I go after him with tweezers every now and then, just to yank out the antennae.

Manicures and pedicures are fine, if they're just to keep the calluses down and the nails clean.

These things can easily become excessive, though, and many women do find them to be effeminate habits.

What kind of work do you do with your hands and feet that makes it a "treat" to have somebody else cut your fingernails and toenails?

I don't have problem with the manicure and pedicure stuff. It's very relaxing and feels great!

As long as the eyebrows aren't shaped better than mine then a trim wouldn't be bad.
Blatantly shaped and waxed??? I might question that.

While I do like my man to have nice clean manly hands and nice feet I really do not like MY MAN personally to go get a manicure and pedicure at the salon. He cuts and files his own fingernails and they look great his feet also and they are not gross.

But maybe if he needed some SERIOUS WORK done then maybe....they would be able to help him out and make it look better

I think a lot of men pamper themselves in some manner that could be seen as effeminate. I don't get manincures and pedicures but I do try to maintain my hands by getting rid of callouses (from working out). I'm black so dry skin shows easily (aka 'ashy' for those in the know) and I need to keep my hands presentable. From time to time I use some products to remove any dead skin from my feet as well.

I don't advertise it, though. I think that's the difference. Most women get screw faced at men who don't take care of their hands and feet, but at the same time don't want to be aware that a man's heavily involved in maintaining those things, especially by visiting a salon.

As long as you are in moderation, you should be okay. It's probably not a basis for first date discussions, though. Let her see the man you are before you introduce that detail LOL.

That's great. Ideally all man should do that, but a lot of them don't. I feel that if a man isn't going to do that for himself, he should go somewhere and have it done. I can't stand to see gross looking overgrown toenails and scraggly eyebrows on a man. What a turn-off!

I work as a courier- it's not the harshest of jobs, but I am on my feet for long periods with work boots, and moving freight sometimes cause calluses.

There's self-grooming, then there's excess, for me personally, that's excess. I'd have to give up a 'man card' from the deck for it.
