Yes, I guess you could say that if you are dating someone who is not of your race. But it doesn't matter who you date, as long as they good with you.
I am a black female who only dates other races. I don't have anything against brothers, I just don't want to date them, not attracted to them on that level. I am not the typical black female. I do things other blacks would say odd. I want to surf, rock climb and stuff like that. So, I date outside of my race to get that excitement. LOL, it is a better fit for me. I see your Italian, I think Italian men are sexy. LOL, anyway.
I agree with the others that it's one of those questions where the answer shouldn't matter. Unfortunately, we live in a world where, to many people, it still matters. For example, look at President Obama. He's half-white, half-black and married to a woman who's black. No one makes an issue out that. But imagine if Obama had been married to a white woman. Then all these right wing nutjobs would really be shouting. Not only is Obama gonna take away your money and your health care and turn you into socialists, now he's gonna take away your white women.
Why? No one makes an issue of Clarence Thomas being married to a white woman except for some liberals.
I am an equal opportunity dater, always have been. I date the person, not the race or skin color. Being a Black woman, I am fully aware of the social ramifications. I was even once physically assaulted by some sick individual (probably high) while out on a date with a White man years ago. But the day I allow someone else to make my choices for me will be the day that donkeys fly and h** freezes over. Love is love.
