Play it cool, be friendly but work hard and take care of business.

If she asks you about your "girlfriend" say "for now".

On a serious note, why don't you just build a friendship with the girl? That's harmless. And by friendship I mean quite literally a very platonic friendship.

You like her, and you have similar music taste. Heres an idea, enjoy it! You do not have to get romantically involved but just play along, flirt right back. Who knows, maybe she will dump the other guy for you but If nothing else shes a good reason to get out of bed in the morning .

I also agree...poooooor baby...how old are you anyway? Grow up, just sit back and enjoy it and be glad work won't be boring for you...

To get her thinking in that direction (and release the pressure valve) ask her to help you meet women. She'll have to think of you in datable terms if she's setting you up with other women.
The other day I was walking down the hall and I had no idea she behind at a distance and she yelled my name but I turned the corner down another and pretended like U didn't hear her because I had no idea what I was going to say if I had turned around-lol
