I know we have had a thread on this before. But it didn't really address my query on the subject.
Don't know what its like where you live. But here downunder they are everywhere esp when you go out at night to certain establishments.
I'm not saying its a good thing or a bad thing.
But my question is "Why the huge increase recently?" what has caused and is causing there to be so many now on the prowl

Maybe divorce rates are higher. Attitudes are changing regarding women’s promiscuousness. Women are retaining their youth longer due to healthier attitudes or surgery. Women have more money now. Take your pick.

You go back 10 years and it was nothing like now.
Cougars have always been around...they used to be called bar-flys.
Remember, the definition of cougar is just out after young guys for sex.
I worked with a gal who was attractive and in her 30's who would occasionally pick out a good looking college guy home for the summer working at the same place as us and rock his world for a bit.
We lived in a small town so she was pretty discreet about it.
Now, if a gal is attracted to much younger guys then there is nothing wrong with it in my book, I think the term cougar gets over-used just like the whole dirty old man thing when you see some 40yo guy dating a 25yo gal.
