From Jerry, the male half of the couple who posts on this board as weekend traveler:
When I was growing up I was always told that I needed to bulk up and get more muscles. I was a skinny wimp. Now 30 years past my teenage years I am still thin. I always was envious of men with large bones, an athletic build, a strong chin and powerful features. Not the guys that looked like linebackers but the ones that looked like the Quarterback.
What does this have to do with relationships? Well a lot. I always noticed that women liked men with a strong chin, a larger head, larger bones, an athletic look. These men pick up on the admiration others had about their looks and felt a comfort and ease about their body and themselves and it showed. It made it easier for them to move with a comfort and grace that attracted the ladies and feel confident of their sexuality in bed. Oh, when I was dating if I only had a strong chin and big bones!
Have you heard of steroids and quick muscle enhancement drugs? You can get big and muscular in no time BUT adhere to the consequences. If a woman likes you, it doesn't matter if you're Skeletor or Fat Albert.
Well quit moaning and do something about it!!!!
Do you think males with a muscular or athletic body were born that way? No, it comes from alot of hard work like alot of other things in life.
You are kidding right? I personally am not attracted to 'those' type of men and I am pretty sure I am not alone.
Thats not the point. I realise as I'm sure most males including the OP is aware some females aren't attracted to the QB build.
The point is the OP is saying he has been unhappy being skinny his whole life. To me that is lame, quit moaning and do something about it.
I could gain muscles but my bones and build would still be slight.
Yep. You're right about this.
If you're in awesome physical condition, but feel limited by your frame, I guess I can understand your frustration and envy of something you can't control. But if you're just average Joe, and haven't put the effort in to be athletic and strong, then yeah you're just making excuses.
