How? To you? Do you feel they are able to get guys out of their league? How do they act when hey get rejected, if ever?
Based on the limited info you've provided, since the girls aren't the best lookers of the typical bunch, a guy will find them "easy pickings" and approach them thinking they have high odds of taken them home. Upon approaching and talking to them, the guys realize they have a brain. Whether it's to enlarge their own ego, not be embarrassed by their friends for getting rejected or looking good to other by standards, taking them home is their goal. Everyone scores and is happy
There's an actress whose name I can never remember--I think it's something unusual, like her first name starts with an I. She's tall and lanky and unbeautiful. Her eyes are a little buggy and her teeth are a little goofy, but there's something very cool and sexy about her.
For me it's a balance of a confidence, not arrogance. Someone who doesn't demand respect, but commands it. He's intelligent, but not a show off. And he has a healthy sense of humor. Some of the sexiest men I have met pull all these off effortlessly.

Regardless if a beautiful person is good in the sack, the overwhelming majority of others will tell their friends they were great...Marketing at it's finest...
I have a female friend, an attorney, who meets the criteria of this thread. She is intelligent to the point of genius, but many guys consider her unremarkable physically. She wears little , if any , makeup most of the time, is built very slender, and wears these little round glasses that are just...kinda tweaky? I guess thats as good a word as any. To me she's drop dead hot,though. There's just something about her. Mentally she is a razor sharp double edged bladed weapon. I'm glad she's on my side. Bring your 'A' game for conversation with her. She carries herself like she's on top of everthing she surveys. Has a real presence about her. In a courtroom you don't want to be on the opposite side of her. Like i said, I'm glad she's on my side.
