The only difference is that here I'm willing to reveal more of my personal experiences and beliefs than I would to any but my most trusted friends offline. Otherwise, I think I "come across" and express myself the same.
I am the same on the forum as I am in real life. I have met people in the flesh from this site and found the same. All good!
I'm pretty much the same. On a serious topic, I clean up nicely, both here and in real life. In a not so serious setting or with friends, I'm even LESS filtered than I am here. That's why my friend in SD sat me down and made me watch a Lisa Lampanelli CD, an unknown to me at the time.
In person, if I don't like you or don't like what you're saying, I'll simply walk away or change the subject. I have a really hard time being remotely mean to people in person. But I also surround myself with awesome people in person - so it's usually not much of an issue.
