I was going to offer that he is probably a swimmer too. I used to bike a lot, and the hardcore racers shaved their legs. No, I wasn't a hardcore racer.

Stomach hair looks kinda of nasty and needs to be shaved with most guys but pit hair usually looks good on guys.
And yes I've heard of guys shaving their bodies. It's somewhat common.
