By controlling I mean they tell you to do everything (what to wear ect) and if you dont they get very angry.
I can't stand when a guy is controlling. Like there is this one guy that I know who does not like to talk to me and his reasoning was, because I will not bend to what he says, he calls me "rigid". Just because I will not let him control me. He even said that my best friend was a better person because she lets him do what he says, that she is more passive. What kind of men do you like?

Lightbulb Strawberry Chicken Pound Cake Supreme

My job title has the word control in it, so proceed with caution.

Control = abuse. I can't imagine anyone with any self-worth who would want even 1% of that in their relationships, ever. Be grateful that guy doesn't want anything to do with you. He's going to suck the life out of everyone who gets close enough.

o.k., for starters, I'll admit this is another of those "pop" terms that I get more & more aggravated with every time I read/hear/see it...

however, to answer your question-- my viewpoint is the guy in question is a jerk & you'd be better off without him in your life

as for me personally, I prefer people who have the "we're on equal ground" attitude... like the saying that goes "I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine."

I don't get the poll choices....so I didn't vote. I won't get along with anyone that has to approve my daily decisions. My ex felt that he had to be the one making all the decisions, and I am just not one to stay under someone's thumb. I loved the guy, but neither of us could stay happy in the same house. Control works only if it suits both parties.
