I told my kids not to worry about looks when they were looking for a mate, because in 25 years you're going to look like each other, anyway. Check out the old couples in the grocery store.
You're better off with someone who will hold you and talk when you wake up lonely in the middle of the night than with someone who is afraid you might muss their hair. Besides, when you get close enough to someone to make love, you're too close to tell what he or she looks like, and the light is probably going to be off to boot.
No matter what the kids look like, Mama and Grandma are gonna think they hung the moon. What possible difference does it make what anybody else thinks?
I'll take (and did) someone I can fight with but not stay mad at. That's worth more than looks any day.
And, after 32 years to reflect, it's worth more than money or anything else. I'd do it again with the same woman in a heartbeat.
I swear, that's how some of these posts here sound. Are people really this shallow or is it all talk?
I will guarantee you that by the end, we will ALL be less than a 5 in the looks department. People with that view are young, dumb and shallow....shrug.
Sure, why not. Some of us <5 folks make beautiful children. For instance, I have a beautiful, redheaded daughter. Of course her mom is pretty hot...maybe she got my brains.
The best part of the whole things is that alot of people who think they are 5+.....aren't.
They are a legend in their own minds.
One person's 4 is another person's 10. Especially when personalities come into play.
