VICTORIA, British Columbia, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- More Canadian senior citizens are choosing common law unions above traditional marriages, census figures show.
Canwest News Service reported recent census results indicate large increases in the number of over-50 people living as common-law couples. Simultaneously, living together without the legal paperwork is a declining practice among those in their 20s and 30s.
