SANDUSKY, Ohio, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- A 19-year-old woman in Sandusky, Ohio, says she wore a sign proclaiming her regrets for her infidelity in an attempt to win back her disgruntled boyfriend.

Sandusky High School graduate Jess Duttry said she recently wore her sign admitting her cheating history out in public in order to potentially get a second chance from the man she cheated on this summer, The Sandusky (Ohio) Register said Saturday.

Maybe he will forgive her. But she is missing the point that there must be underlieing reasons to why she cheated. If she isn't addressing those, the problems will continue after he takes her back.

I smell a hoax. This story sounds exactly like the story of a man in Fairfax, Va that later was revealed to be fake. It happened only a few weeks ago. There's a post on it somewhere here on C-D.

I don't think the VA story was fake.... Or are you saying the guy was just out there for attention and wasn't really out there for the reason his sign said?

Call me a skeptic, but I have to wonder about people who feel the need make a public scene to show their remorse. If I were the boyfriend I'd much rather have a sincere heartfelt private apology without the addition of the theatrics.

I remember the day I cancelled my subscription to a periodical called Jugs. I just wasn't feeling fulfilled by the relationship anymore so I ended up turning to another called "Hip Action". I lost my head for awhile even though I thought I was a one body part kind of guy. I tried to renew my subscription with Jugs but the Editor was furious.
I missed tender moments with the pullout page and I was ashamed that I had not appreciated the air bushing techniques of the Jugs photographic team.

So everyday I go out there putting it all on the line to show where my thoughts really lie.

I want you all back. I miss you.

In this case, it could be nothing more than arrogant, thinking-with-your-hormones, youth. I think I'd give her another chance--after a good rain.

It't not her age but her lack of common sense that made her cheat. Women in their 20s, 30s and 40s cheat also.

Look at this way. She probably got a lot of good phone numbers.

It was a radio stunt: Sign-Wearing Cheating Husband Was a Hoax - DCist

The Ohio one is a copycat or the same thing.
