Thank you Yankee. Yanno I haven't even dealt with this thing emotionally yet...I just haven't let myself go there. But Tuesday night, and Wednesday, I'll be a wreck...at least for a little while. We all will. Thank God for a large family...at least we'll have lots of each other to hug!!!

I'm sorry to hear bad news, good thing I don't live near you, as all of the baking you do, I'd be big as a house.

Hey if I had to keep it all here, I'd be the same. I have to bake, and TAKE!

Yeah sometimes it just seems like life is just ducking the curve balls. I'm so thankful that I have such a great person in my life now. It sure makes the ducking easier.
Your boyfriend seems to make you very happy Chessie. Does your son approve of him yet?

Bittersweet weekend this. Spent a wonderful 24 hours with my sweetheart, a gorgeous day and drive - saw the house from Nights In Rodanthe...pretty cool, took the ferry to Ocrakoke Island...really a lovely day.

But my family lost a wonderful man last night - my first cousin...top drawer, best of the best. It was a long battle with a devastating disease. Gonna be a long tough next few days, with full houses all around. I'm already starting on baking pans of brownies. Seems like we always cook/make food for these things...wonder how that tradition started?
I'm sorry, too, Chessie. Mrstewarts's right, you've been through a lot lately.

That's funny, my mom just saw Nights in Rodanthe; we were just talking about it today.

(We'll DM you our address for some of your world-famous brownies. )

Oh yes...he thinks he's pretty cool. You probably know I'm one of those that doesn't let my son meet any of my "men" unless I am serious about him. Well, they've met...many times now. Yeah...they are fine with each other.
