Yes, I do. It IS the great leverer. I.E. The children blown up in Iraq. They have done nothing to deserve this. If there is a God, I exxpect Karma to play into these situations.
No. I believe everyone gets a share of bad news from time to time. Others have it worse due to fate.
Right you are. Bad things tend to happen to inherently good people. A true measure of that person is how they react to the bad, both short and long term.
I believe in Karma, Laws of attraction, and the Christian story of the Mustard Seed. What you put out into the universe grows, so be careful what you wish for.
It caught my attention when I was 9 years old. I had stayed out at a friends house too long, and lied to my mother saying, "my bike got stolen, I had to walk 4 miles home."
My bike was parked behind a tree on our 2 acre property, that no one goes to, mows around, or walks near. I used that tree to stash all sorts of stuff.
Then a week goes by, I remember "Oh my bike!" and the tree was bare. No bike. Someone really did steal my bike.
I learned not to lie. I learned that things happen when you're not looking, just put that energy out there, and forget about it. Let the universe bring it to you.
I learned that each person, stranger or not, that comes into your life...just after talking about that person or thinking about that person....comes into your life a reason, so listen to all they say. You may be glad you listened when the time arrives.
Ever read "The Secret" basically what its saying, what you put out you receive,
the good and the bad, although, the focus of the book is to manifest the good.
I love my first "manafestation" story, I used to be part of the LoA forum from that book.
I had heard about the secret from Oprah. I was flicking through channels one day and my MIL in the next apaprtment hollered to turn it on, so I watched it. I was so curious that I went to the website to find out what the LOA was.
Their website didn't really say much to feed my curiousity, I would need the book but I really wanted the movie instead.
I had no money, was in a tough financial position at the time, and so I e-mailed my new age and astrology dad to ask him if he knew about this new thing The Secret.
All I did was ask if he had heard of it.
The next day, he e-mailed me back that he had not seen or read it, but a co worker talked about it. He put in the end of his e-mail, "I bought a copy off amazon.com and its being shipped tomorrow to your apartment, let me know if you liked it."
My dad NEVER does that.
So....my first LoA manifestation story, was the dvd itself!
I have been hooked since.
I made a dream board of all the things I wanted to manifest, I have about half of them crossed off. Amazing stuff.
I do believe in karma because it makes me feel better to believe that people who do truly horrendous things will get punished. Now whether it's true or not, I don't know, but I want to believe there's justice in this world.
