I am alone now. But if I did have someone, I would not tell the person I only had 24 hours left. But I would work on doing things for that person, thoughtful, nice things. Like putting away their laundry. Ironing his shirt, the way I know he likes it, which I never did. I realize now, that life is based on the little things, and if you ignore those things every day, the "big" things done a few times a year don't really matter much. Life is made up of millons of moments, that are wasted. Small things mean everything.

Well, we have a closer beach, but since at this point you can blow money (or credit!), it's probably gonna be a nicer one if I can get a flight out (that doesn't take too long!).

We'd eat one or two meals at places we either really like or have wanted to try.

Maybe a nice drive for the afternoon.

Have one of my husband's Hurricane drinks.

I'd remind him of the important things he'd need to know ("death papers," etc.).

Don't know about sex or not. That could be emotionally painful, in a way.

I think he'd be an absolute "wreck", so who knows exactly how well things would go?

Since you mentioned NOT including kids, family etc. I can assume you are hoping for sexual responses. But I'd just hope on over to Disneyland with the wife and then spend the last couple of hours meditating alone to prepare for the end.

I would make my peace with God.. If I was with someone, I'd just spend the day in bed with her. There's a long story there, that I won't go in to.
