Yeah, pretty much, but women tend to cling to these myths as well. You see it in this forum all the time with threads titled, "Why do men cheat?," "Why do men lie?" and "Why are men so shallow?" as if all women are faithful, honest, and deep.
By this, I'm not trashing women. Instead, I'm just asserting that they're just as fallible as men.
Myth #2: Women aren’t as visually stimulated or obsessed with looks as men are.
I am going to challenge this because its too simplistic. Women do consider looks but not in the same way men do. Me will go for the prettiest girl in the room while women will require men to pass the threshold. She then will look for hypergamous personality traits. That example with Clinton is perfect. Clinton's social zenith allows him to compete with true physical beauty because he passes the threshold and is loaded with hypergamous traits. At this point, the women's focus will narrow on his look as being the most pleasing. He makes her desire his look. Then yes, his look will drive her nuts.

Yes men do consider other things than beauty but they always try to get it to work with the best looking girl in the room. Most of the men stand in the corner and can't get it to work but still want that girl. Men will often just settle for the best looking one they can get and then try to make it work. Those men who do hook up will often find her unbearable which of course usually happens after they sleep with her.
Its very different. Women look for personalities that look good. Men find out if that good looking women has a personality he can deal with.
