It's a fly fishing outing for fathers and sons (or moms and sons, etc.)
We teach fly fishing, entymology, habitat awareness, restoration, and preservation, as well as marshmeller roastin' and crawdad catchin', and hot dog and s'mores eatin'. Ages range from 5 - 15. It's all good.

You know that is one thing I've never done. The equipment is much more expensive than spin cast and bait cast. It is worth it for the challenge and fight though. You are really supposed to feel them on with a fly rod.

My husband will fly fish but I prefer just regular old fishing myself

I do too. Just remember the foot operated trolling motor is cranked all the way up on high though. Oh, and don't stand on the front deck of your bass boat and hit it in high!LOL....... Can anyone picture a Led Zeppelin style swan dive into the drink?LOL.........
