I'm not a huge fan of diamonds, but I'd never say NO!!!! haha. I think it's a perfectly fine gift to get a wife, fiance, long term friend, gf, mother, or sister. You can get cheap diamond earrings or necklace if you go during sales, so I suppose it depends on how fancy the diamonds are.
If you'd like to send some diamond earrings to me, I could let you know what my reaction would be...should I send you my address? hahaha jk!

What does giving a girl Diamond's signify to those on here. Not a diamond ring as a sign of commitment I know but let's just say a pair of diamond earrings or necklace?
If you care for the woman very much, earrings or a necklace are fine. Once you've set that precedent, though, be prepared to outdo yourself next time.
Diamonds mean a lot, at least to this woman they do.
It depends on where you are in the relationship, etc. It could symbolize a thoughtful sweet gift, or a serious relationship.
Diamonds are my favorite gift. Diamonds are all about giving a woman something that makes her smile, and think of the man everytime she looks at it.
The bigger the diamonds, the more the other men can see it from far away and be detoured.
