It's -23 here tonight (-50 or so wind chill) and I have my heat cranked with a space heater going.
My house is so old the electrical current is not strong enough to keep it running The darn thing always blows a fuse Darn!

Well each outlet should be giving a constant current of 110 volts. If not, you need to have an electrician test all the outlets and do a once over on the circuit breaker box.

I'm guessing it's the space heater that is not doing so well. Also, I'm guessing it's not blowing fuses, it's just tripping a breaker.

Yeah, it's bad. Did you see the little guy in my profile? He can't even be out for more than a few minutes at a time before his legs start tightening up. It really sucks.

You are right! It is tripping the breaker! If I have anything else on in the zone where the heater is running the darn thing turns off the whole zone....what a bummer

What room are you pluggin it in to? and how many breakers do you have? (i.e. should be a kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, HVAC, etc etc.)

You may need to just run an extension cord from a room (most likely a bedroom) so it won't overload anything.
