I was thinking, when it comes to dating and relationships, would your immediate town or city play a role? Take example of where I live, a town of about 25,000 made up of mostly Mormons. There are not alot of opportunities around here (at least I'm going to UofA this year). What do you think, does your town kind of sound the same?

Of course it does. Too much choice may be mind-boggling, exhausting, and detrimental, but too little choice is not exactly beneficial by any means. I think going to school would help you a lot. Good luck!

Of course. Big cities= more to choose from but also more competition.

Small towns, less of both. But you could be a big fish in a small pond.

I kinda figured that, I have known some good lookin ladies around here, thing is their already taken. Me and Sierra live around 2 hours from each other, she thought I lived across town from her or something, she's a nice lady.

Wait until you start school, then take it from there. If you're interested in someone who lives a long way away, it can be tricky but it's not that hard to maintain distance friendships these days.
If it becomes serious, would you be open to moving closer to where she lives? It's just something to be thinking about.
If I was still single, I'd be doing the big-city thing for sure. You're more likely to meet people who've seen a bit of the world, have varied interests, and can string two words together. Not saying that doesn't happen in smaller towns or rural areas, it's just what I'd be doing. Good luck!

No, no, not in person, just had a private chat with her on C-D. But I wouldn't mind in person.

I think there are very few people who have met each other in real life from city-data.

I have met several from the Denver board.

I'd love to meet folks from Relationships.

Can location play a part in what?

Your ability to find a date? The kind of mate you date? What you do on a date?

My city is great for dating in all aspects. There are all kinds of men and tons of things to do. It's just a matter of putting yourself out there.
